An MBE with Capacity, Longevity, Ingenuity
In 2003, P&G informed IPC about a new expansion project that was underway at their Dry Detergent Manufacturing facility located in Pineville, LA. Looking for major suppliers with manufacturing facilities within a 30-mile shipping radius of Pineville, diverse ownership & staff, and the proven capacity and capabilities to handle their new liquid detergent’s volatile volume swings.
We accepted P&G’s challenge and went to work at providing the complete packaging solution. We proposed a value proposition that met all their conditions and so we were awarded a 5-year contract to supply 100% of all their packaging needs. We developed this complete solution by creating a partnership with a major integrated partner and in 2004 building a state-of-the-art facility in Alexandria, LA. Because of our efforts, we won one of P&G’s most prestigious awards “Supplier of the Year”. This is an example of IPC’s innovative approach to the packaging industry. We partner with other integrated firms to bring large company capacity with a small company tailored customer focus.
